The Spiritual Tahara Revolution - An appeal to preserve Jewish values

The Mitzvah of taharat hamishpacha (familial purity) is a vital, foundational pillar of the People of Israel. Without tahara (purity) the existence of the Jewish people in not possible. In light of tahara’s monumental importance, the Halacha permits selling a synagogue and Torah scrolls for the sake of building a mikveh with the proceeds

In Israel, there are approximately 750 mikvehs for women, of which about half are in dire need of comprehensive refurbishment, to make them suitable for tvilah (immersion in a mikveh). These renovations would include adapting the mikvehs to conform with all immersion practices, for use by all ethnicities and beliefs within the Jewish people.

The Tohar – Mikveh Maim Chaim (Purity – Water of Life Mikveh) organization is leading the tahara revolution in Israel.

Over the past decade, the organization has been operating in partnership with the Orem Torah and Chesed association, and together, they’ve been carrying out the sacred work of constructing, renovating, and maintaining hundreds of tahara mikvehs in Israel, the United States, Mexico, and Europe. This, in addition to expansive outreach activities designed to inform the general public about the significance of the mitzvah. The organization provides personal coaching, halakhic counseling and guidance, home visits, and conferences for women, as well as engages in a  variety of additional activities aimed at increasing awareness of the tahara mitzvah and its importance, on a spiritual level, as well as from personal, marital, and familial perspectives.

We have set for ourselves a goal of brining tahara to any place with a Jewish presence, in Israel and around the globe.

Today, we are diligently working to build three mikvehs:

  • Moshav Ein Ayala Mikveh, Hof HaCarmel, Israel
  • Moshav Rimonim Mikveh, Mateh Binyamin Regional Council (near Jeruslaem), Israel
  • Baltimore Mikveh, Maryland, USA

Each of the three mikvehs is a center for tahara, that will continue to spread eternal purity and kedusha (sanctity).

To succeed in our mission, we need your help.

We invite you to be our partner and to invest in sculpting an everlasting reality of tahara and kedusha for the benefit of all of the people of Israel.

Join us and together, we will spearhead the revolution that will bring about meaningful change in the Jewish world!!!
